Has anyone received an extension to submit documents and passport for stamping due to a circumstance? 

What are the chances of receiving an extension?  We are in a fix as it is in the final stages.

Hey there, I am not sure, but I don't think that they grant an extention for the 30 days limit to send the passport.

I recently emailed an inquiry 2 Buffalo to ask the same question, but no reply yet. And I have not read anywhere that that they will allow it.

I have also sent the same request in to London UK as my passport has vanished in the post. I am still waiting for a reply from them.

I sent my passport in to have my name changed in it right before i got the passport request. I was told 4-6 weeks to have my passport back and that 6th week is when it's due at Buffalo. I have until the 30th of August to have it 2 them. Not to mention they had a problem with my photos.
