Okay. Please don't laugh at me, I have no idea what to do here.

I'm about to apply for an extended stay (I'm a visitor) and one of the things they ask to see if proof of a return flight. Now, I do have a return ticket, with the original date on which I intended to return, which was March 7. However I'm applying for an extension which means I won't be returning on March 7 (but I don't know when yet because I don't know if they will say yes or no)

So, what should I do? Show them the original ticket and explain that I can change the date if necessary? Don't show them anything? Anybody know?  Undecided

Thanks in advance!

You can submit your application without a copy of the return ticket.

When I did mine I included a copy of the return ticket (or E Ticket) - I explained that I can change the date of return flight for $xx.

You have to prove that you intend to leave, I guess that a return ticket is a good part of that proof.
