How did she obtain her current work visa? She will likely have to go through a similar process to extend her current work visa or obtain a new one.

Submitting an outland application does not give an applicant any work visa benefits or privileges.

Yes - she will need an approved LMO before she can renew her work permit. (Her employer will have to apply for the LMO.)

However because she is working in this role through a post-graduate work permit, I believe this means the employer does not have to advertise the role (to see if any Canadians apply) before submitting it for approval. Hopefully someone else can confirm.
