Extend TRV - Valid Work Permit

Hi,

I have a valid post graduate work permit as I completed my 2 year master programs. I applied and received this at the Buffalo consulate for 3 years expiring in 2014. However, my passport at that time was valid only until 2012 so my TRV was only until April 2012. I have since then, got my passport extended until 2021, and need to re-apply for the TRV extension. I am looking at the 1249E forms on the CIC website, but need some clarity on how and where to apply.

- Is 1249 E the correct form for this application? I need to mark the TRV option on this.
- What are the supporting documents that need to be provided? Its not fully clear from the application form.
- Should I send the form to Vegerville or Buffalo? Can I apply in person at Buffalo?
- If I go in person to Buffalo, will they be able to provide this within the same day?
- What is the fees I should pay online ? $150 or $ 200?

Any insights on the above will be greatly appreciated.

TRV is applied for outside Canada. You can send it to Buffalo or you can go in person if you have a valid US visa. $150.00 is the multiple entry fee for the visa. I don't know if Buffalo has  same day processing.
