Hi,
I appreciate your help for the following:
I am trying to fill Generic Application Form For Canada (IMM0008) to sponsorship my parents , in "National Identity document" information section they asked us to define the expriy Date and this field is mandatory , but in our country there is issue date but no  "Expiry Date"  so what should I do about expiry date should I put any expiry date because I cannot leave it blank ?
please advise
your immediate response will highly appreciated ,
regards

Hi,
We had the same problem, I called CIC several times, and they say it is a problem with the new form. They told us to print it without validation and write in "no expiry date" in the space. It is frustrating because they want everyone to use the validation for the form. But they admitted to me that it is a problem they have not fixed yet. (We did ours in late August).
I hope that helps. I recommend calling CIC   http://immipedia.ca/CIC_call_centre   Good luck.

Hey we had the same problem! I called a CIC agent and she told me to write a random expiry date in the future so we can valoidate the form! and I added a letter explaining that....Smiley

That's a good suggestion from CIC Tina. Since I haven't sent mine out yet, I might as well do the same, write a random date and then attach a letter to explain.

It would be a good idea to have it translated. Saves time just in case they want it translated. Smiley
