Hi.
My PR card expired in September 2011, and my citizenship is not approved yet. It was sent September 2010. What can i do if i plan to travel overseas?

1.  If you have concrete plans and a ticket, you can apply for expedited processing, or you can apply for a Travel Document overseas, Or if you are from a visa exempt country, you can take your chances that the airline will allow you to board the return flight without a PR card.

Thanks. I don't have a solid traveling plan yet. What i am wondering is whether i should apply for a new PR card ( i guess processing time would be 148 days), perhaps my citizenship might be approved prior to that.
