hi

i have a question regarding the pr card renewal time. im a university bond student to start in september but my pr card is expired. osap needs that card and we are in the middle of waiting for citizenship ceremony. is there anyway i can get my pr card renewed urgently by september? if i dont get that card, then ill have no funding.

im extremely tight for time. any response is much appreciated.

You can apply to renew and ask for expedited processing because of your situation.  Include as much proof as you can about your situation.  Usually they only expedite if you are travelling soon but maybe they will make an exception for you.

If you don't want to take that chance, you could also buy a cheap plan ticket for the date you want the PR card by in September and show proof of travel to get your expedited processing.

Alright, thanks. I'll try to do some of that. Atleast there's some glimmer of hope.
