Can a employer get your salary or pay for an entire year changed after u get your T4 for that year..? for example a person gets $12 per

hour (40 hours a week) and he works a entire year and then he gets his t4 for 2011. Now according to his salary the yearly earning on his

T4 shows 24,000. Now for some reason the employer wants to show his employees earning 28000 for 2011.

Can he get the T4 changed..? is this possible..?

If the employer made an error in the original T4, it is their responsibility to amend and have it filed correctly. So, yes an employer can change a T4 to reflect the proper amounts.  (For example, if they forgot to include a taxable benefit such as employer supplied auto on the original filing.)

The extra amount may be taxable benefits. It maybe reported incorrectly, but your tax situation does not change!
