Hi I have just received my visitor visa for Canada for 3 years. I will be moving there with my husband. I have over 7 years experience in IT field in USA. I would like to know how to get a work permit? Can I apply for it at port of entry or do I have to wait for 6 months? What are chances of getting some work for IT person in Toronto area? I am seeing many jobs in my field on monster but have not recieved any reply yet. Please help.
