Hello:

For some of the  jobs I have done in the past, I don't have the offer letters. I noticed that the job description and salary details are mentioned in H1-B petition (application for US work visa) filed by the employer. Can I use that as an offer letter?

I do have payment slips, tax returns, etc.  I am thinking  that I can submit them along with the H1-B petition cover letter.
Seniors, please let me know what you think.

Thanks,

Thanks,

That shouldn't be a problem. Buffalo accepted a notarized copy of my H1-B petition as an attachment to the updated reference letter from my former employer with his business card attached.  I submitted the same in lieu of my employment contract which we could not locate anymore.

For your purposes, you may submit notarized copies of all your documentary proof which you enumerated above with an explanation why you cannot submit your contract, if that is the case.
