Hi Guys,
Need your expert advise.
Can you guys give me am estimate, when would the NOC 1122 will reach the cap for this year.
The reason I am asking is that, my husband is giving his IELTS test on July9th, and the result would take another 15 days.
Do you think, it will be full, within 1 month?

Hi, I don't think NOC 1122 will get full in one month. But it is sure that NOC 1122 out of 29 categories will be full first. The reason is many applicants are waiting since last 6 months to apply for this NOC as it reached it's quota of 1000 in November 2010. I will advise you to keep all documents ready and send the application to NS as soon as IELTS results are received. All the Best. |

I would guess 2 months but no guarantees. Last year it filled up in 5 months and that was a quota of 1000. Now it's a quota of 500 and many people have been ready and waiting to apply.

As for me, i say NOC 1122 will fill up before the end of July.
But anyways, lets keep our fingers crossed & hope for the best !

Apply as soon as possible without thinking that till when it will get filled ......... better not to be more late than end of july

No, there are no changes except the CAP is smaller now so apply fast before it fills up.

hi guys, i m new to this forum. just sent my application to nova scotia under 1122 category. am afraid that whether it will reach within the cap of 500 applications. as per the courier company it will be delivered on 13 th july.

It is hard to say because their counter is still stuck on July 1st, see http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/complete-applications.aspThey don't say when they plan to update it. |
