It's hard initially ,My son is a doctor but doing labour job. He will have to pass canadian exam.How he will pullon ,Allah bless him.Things will settle with time, my son is back to Pakistan 4 his marriage. Youngest is studying in secondary school. I have decided to continue what come may here ,its peaceful ,govt. thinks the people. |

hi everyone i m new on the forum just searching n found this site . i applied in march 2004 i m a dr . i ve just got provisional acceptance n after reading the shocking news on cic site abt backlog cases i mailed them n i got a reply tht my application is undergoing background /security check n it may take several months n i got similar reply many months back when i inquired abt my application . now wht i m worried tht am i in those lucky 20000 applicants ?but they didnt gave any satisfying reply .already more than 8 years of my life ve been wasted n still no hope . plz anyone in similar boat n any guess ? wht s happening . i dnt understand , were they sleeping before tht ?now they r doing security checks . ppl who ve applied in late 2004 ve got their medicals so i think there is no order . only luck i think . i daily wait for courier . i think this anxiety is increasing my aging process n disturbing my life .  but cant help it  |

Take it easy and wait for updates on this matter in order to slow down the aging process. By june the situation will be clearer once the proposals are passed into law.

dr munir ,sir heartiest congratulations 4 img n sons wedding . :)today i gone through the forum n when i see ure no i thought of calling u in morning t inquire but as i moved on i came t know tht u ve reached thre best of luck . can i ask in which month u applied as i applied in last days of march2004 . i m surprised ivent got med why they r doing background checks on my application .  ??any guess i m afraid .wht do u think . i m so disappointed .why ?i dnt like the weather there but i want t go there for my kidz .can i do something ? if i apply ecas will it effect my case speed it up r wht does it do .why my security cheque is taking so long .have u gone through it . i pray t GOD t ve some miracle .life is very tough there n as i m getting old .afraid of being old too  . r u a gen prac r a spec .do u ve plans t do practice there ? |
