Interview........: got waived :-)
Passport Req..: January 2012
VISA ISSUED...: May 2012

Plz elaborate what made u deduce that 013 means your visa would be stamped this year? cant we interpret iot this way - 013 = 2013 Huh

No not true anymore.
013 code at barcode many people have before they land already within 8 to 12months in past.
do not trust any rumors.

Good. this barcode is not new, as I seen for some applicants issued even in 2007 , 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 applicants.
from my group people already landed within some months and in 1year. right now situation is different due to backlog so people pass time to making rumor here. do not trust on that.
look nectar one OP of this forum also discussed and pass false information.
(I already paste link of nectar post in this same post here).

Well it is understandable to flow with the Speculations and Predictions, as the process is tedious.

We cannot blame someone for being speculative Smiley  Its a harsh ride.

Anyways, the 013 thingy is with everyone, probably.

And it does not denote the Year you will be give visa.

Relax and let the process go through.

Right Devilhimselff.
mostly 85% applicant got this code after getting the PER.
That doesn't mean they will get visa in 2013 or get medical soon etc...

hello everyone , maybe bar code 013 means from one year to 3 years to get it done...                                                                    my 2nd AOR was in june 2009 till now nothing ...visa office Damascus// thanx all..
