E-Status after sending the docs

Hi,

I have sent my full application with the docs on 14th Jul and it reached New Delhi on 15th Jul. Still my online application status is showing as CIO-S Eligibility Review Complete. How long it takes to change this status after ND receives the docs, any idea friends.

By the way CHC generally changes status every tuesday. But this is not a hard and fast rule that CHC changes status on each step. Your status may be changed and may not be changed. Example for you: in some cases decision has been made and appliant has reached at destination (Canada) and one's status at E-CAS is still showing "we started processing .......". So you do not need to worry at all and just keep looking their correspondance to you.

E-cas updates are done weekly - usually on tuesdays. If your application was delivered on the 16th(thurs), then earliest opportunity for them to update E-Cas will be the 21st or the 28th. It all depends on the internal workings of your visa office.

E-cas Update does not even update for some, so i wouldn't be overly concerned with what comes up on it.

My application status is still "CIC-NS review complete" after this Tuesday's update also. do I need to worry..? My full application with doc reached ND on 15th Jul. Thank

in my case it took thrree weeks to change status to Received by Visa Office. so wait till first week of august.

             u dont need to worry abt eCAS status.........i submitt my file at CHC ND on  7th july n my status was updated on 23rd July(i.e. last tuesday)......so u should wait for next week.........and one more thing........we r in d same boat so u should also participated in d topic "Who send their final application in July 2009 to local CHC"...................
