Hi
I live and work in Dubai and had applied for permanent residence for Canada through federal skilled worker, but instead of writing the visa office as London I was confused and wrote Abu Dhabi instead, will they return my application for this mistake or will they forward it directly to London knowing that all applications from UAE for federal skilled workers directly go to London? Also as per the new rule I did not enclose the Fee payment form as i sent my application before the Rule was posted on the website , am I exempted? I sent my application through courier , how long will it take for me to receive a response?? And is there anyone here in Dubai that i can meet in person or contact and ask about my enquiries?
Is there a contact number or call centre number that I can call and follow up with my application ? I am just worried about the delay in the processing of my application . I sent it through corier on 15 september 2009
Thnx Lova

I think someone in another thread had same problem but he was advised not to worry. CIC will send it to London. Also as per the new rule I did not enclose the Fee payment form as i sent my application before the Rule was posted on the website , am I exempted? The fee payment form started on the 8th of September 2009. You sent your document on the 15th September hence you should have filled the payment form. All is not lost. Fill the form, write a letter explaining your unaware of the form at the time of posting your application. Send letter to CIC ASAP. I sent my application through courier , how long will it take for me to receive a response??45-60days And is there anyone here in Dubai that i can meet in person or contact and ask about my enquiries?

I sent it through corier on 15 september 2009I believe you should be able to track it online if you used UPS, FEDEX, DHL etc. If not find out from the courier service provider if the parcel has been delivered.
Thnx Lova

Hello.... I just got realized that I joined this club. Iīm FSW2 living in Canada. And I wrote my visa office as Canada instead of Buffalo. Now I am worried about getting my file returned because this error.
What should I do? submit the hole thing again?
I read in some other forum that one guy submitted his application again considering that his application was going to be refused and it didnīt happen, so when CIC got his 2nd application, they just sent it back with a letter explaining they had already an application being processed from him.

I guess if you know there is a mistake in your form, why dont you send a letter to CIC explaining this. You may also want to send the updated/corrected form. This is what I would do ...
