Hi,

I sent my application to Nairobi in August 2006.  Got my file number in October 2006.

I met by boyfriend in February 2007 and we want to get married.  He hasn't done any application for PR though.

If we get married now, how will this affect my PR ?  What should be donefor him to get his PR ?

Is it better to marry before getting my PR or after ?

Please help.

by all means I'd suggest get married. when they contact you they will ask for any change in family composition (or you may inform them in writing) ...Then complete the necessary forms, pay for him and continue waiting. Much better to have him added on now than sponsoring later especially since you do not know the outcome of your application yet!. don't put your life on hold, go for it!. goodluck
