Whoever made this mistake should be made to retake the IELTS test and get a minimum 9 band score on all sections and his citizenship should be revoked and must apply for permanent residence just like us.   They reject applications for forgetting to put  N/A  in an unsused space,  this is pay back time.

one can easily understand the meaning and such a minor error is ignorable. i think you should retake the ielts and not the one who wrote the guide.

plus i think you write an email to cic and inform them of the mistake may be in retun they approve your application quicker.............

Are current copies of the guide still carrying the mistake? If yes, then there 'is' a mistake, otherwise there 'was' a mistake. Roger55 might be correct after all.
