HI there. I have a quick question I would like some advice on as soon as possible please.

I have recently returned from 1 years study in Canada on a study permit. Towards the end of my stay I applied for an extension to the permit via the postal application. However after sending the application off i realised i had forgotton to pay the $125 fee. I did not retain a copy of my application. After not hearing any response after 30 days (I assumed they would tell me I had forgotton the fee and i would have paid it) I decided to go home to the UK. In the end I had stayed 21 days over the expirey date on my initial study permit.

To summarise, i had applied for a study permit extension but forgotton to pay the fee. I then left Canada 21 days after the permit had expired (but had submitted extension application). I now wish to go back for a 8 week holiday and am concerned I may have problems gaining re-entry? I have a return ticket and plenty of funds for my stay.I also have a letter of certification saying I am a fully registered student at my university in the UK.

I know you are allowed to remain in Canada while awaiting extension decision but I have no proof of sending the application (except the completed copy I assume they have recieved)

PLEASE HELP it will be very much appreciated.
