Hi,

I think this topic is probably been addressed a few times before but since I still don't have a clear answer I'm posting my question here.

I've lived and worked in Canade between Oct 2010-Aug 2011 on a WHP-visa.  My visa expires officially only at the end of this month (end sept 2011) but I have left Canada at the end of August.

I would like to go back to Canada (as a visitor) at the end of October for just 1 week. During my stay I've heard a few people telling me that after the expiry date of your WHP you are not allowed in Canada for the next 30 days. Is this information correct?

I hope someone has an answer for me since I can't find any information on government/immigration websites, nor contact someone at the Embassy of Canada in Paris and for me this would make a difference for my departure date to Canada.

Waiting for someone's reply... Thanks in advance!

Btw: I'm Belgian (maybe the country of origin makes a different...)
