I am applying for Canada PR as a primary applicant in the FSW category along with my husband. My VO is Buffalo, USA.

I have the following two questions:

1. Can I submit notarized copies of experience letters of my employment? Since I have only one original from each employer, I do not want to send the original. Also I do not have business card of my former employers. Is it a necessary requirement? Can I send my employer contact on a separate sheet?

2. For proof of funds, can I show my spouse's bank statement? I am on a dependent visa in US and do not have sufficient funds in my name.

Thank you in advance for your response.

You can submit notarized copies of appointment letter but reference letter should be original and dated recently signed by your immediate supervisor/ manager or HR officer attached with his/her business card. If you can't give reference letter, you should write self explanation letter that why you are not able to give the reference letter from your current and former employers. This explanation letter should have all the details regarding your position, period of job, salary and job duties.

2. For proof of funds, can I show my spouse's bank statement? I am on a dependent visa in US and do not have sufficient funds in my name.

If your spouse is accompanying you to Canada, it is fine to show your spouse's bank statement also.

Thank you in advance for your response.

Dear All.

Can Somebody help me about the following??

1. I have more than 4 years of experience in sales and want to apply under Manitoba provincial general stream. Can I Apply ??

2. My Experience stands like

Employer A :-1 years 1 months
Employer B:- 6 Months
Employer C:- 3 Months
Employer D :- 7 Months
Employer E:- 1 year 5 Months
Employer F:- 9 Months

Total Experience:- 4 years & 5 Months

How many Points can I Claim For this Under General Stream??

2. I got the letters of reference from my employers indicating specific start and end dates and Designation But they did not mention the job responsibilities and duties on it and also denied to mention on letter. Can I submit the application with declaration of job duties and responsibilities from myself on the separate Attested Affidavit??

Your help would be highly appreciated..

Thanks

Hi
Is business card necessary? I have got a letter made from my in Charge (MS). And its on Hospital official paper (its government, Ministry). There are all details of the Hospital and Ministry on that letter head. Would that suffice, as I think my Hospital Incharge doesnt have a Business Card.....  Huh

I think it's okay if you don't attach business card of your senior. But it'd be good if you can write information like his designation, direct contact no. and email address on a piece of paper and attach with the reference letter.

All of the requirements which CIO have asked for are necessary and important,

Try to provide all required documents and cards etc,

still if you are missing some thing write a covering letter providing as much information as  you can, with contact details, dates, duties, responsibilities etc. I also advise if business card is not available get (request) an affidavit or letter from you supervisor/ manager stating that they do not have a business card.
But doing the above thing does not guarantee that you have fulfilled the requirement.
CIO still can refuse your application on the ground that you have not provided what is required / asked.

Thanks
