Our employment counsellors provide free individual employment assessments that seek to identify your strengths, transferable skills, and pre-employment needs in order to chart a return-to-work action plan that will help you gain employment as soon as possible. Ongoing follow-up and support during the implementation of your action plan and afterwards is also provided.

CAREER EXPLORATION CENTRE
Our 2 week service will help you to:
• Identify your interests, skills, aptitudes, and work preferences through selected assessments
• Develop a personal profile for career planning
• Research occupational and training information
• Understand the labour market
• Improve your self-marketing techniques
To qualify you must meet one of the following:
• have a current claim for Employment Insurance (El) benefits;
• have had a claim for regular benefits which ended within the previous 3 years;
• have received maternity or parental benefits within the previous 5 years and now want to return to the work force.
