Hi everybody,

I'm getting my paperwork ready for PR application.  I found out that my ex-employer wasn't very accurate feeling out information in my Timesheets, Payrolls and T4.  What I have now, is that some information doesn't match... For example, she claimed that I worked 2250 hours in 2010 according timesheets, but 2260 hours. according Payrolls (and T4) for the same 2010 year.... Not a big difference, but still....

I'm panicking, what does it mean for me applying for PR?  I believe I'm not the only one in this weard situation, when ex-employer wasn't very diligent filling out our papers and documents. Probably, there is someone who had similar situation and already sent application for PR?  And everybody else, caregivers, what can you advice me?

Should I send everythings 'as is'?
Or should I include a Cover Letter explaining where all the mismatching information came from?
Should I indicate in my timesheets and payrolls that "information didn't match because of the employer's mistake''?

Please I need your advice!

Under what option are you applying for?

22months 3900h

That means I will have to provide Timesheets AND Payrolls AND T4, and the information in all of them should match. Is it right?

Yes, they should match. Maybe ask your employer to correct the month/weeks in question to tally with the T4.

That's the thing,  I can't see they way to correct it now.  She doesn't want to listen.... She was just telling me: 'it's your problem'....  I don't know what to do with it...

Well if she's no changing the entries then attach a cover letter. I am sure you're  not submitting your application with only 3900 hours worked. Add a bit if you can, 2 days amount of work? Smiley

Yes I will have more than 4200 hours at the day of application. Thank you for advice, I guess Cover Letter is the best thing I can do in this situation.

One more question. I have to submit all T4 right? I don't have it for 2009 (first year in Canada,...I was filing my tax return myself and sent the original to CRA along with Tax Report application).  What should I do?

Your employer may have a copy of the T4. Else, try calling CRA and ask if it is possible to obtain a copy of the T4 for that year.
