EMERGENT WITHDRAW MY APPLICATION PLEASE!!! Temporary residential visa visitor

Dear Canadian Consulate,

I mailed my application a long time ago. Almost two months have passed, but I never get any feedback. Ever since then, I have missed my flight to Toronto and the return flight. I have been to consulate in New York myself for three times. All they told me was to come back and email. I emailed constantly but seldom received any feedback. Now I am desperate of getting my passport back. Because I don't want to miss my flight to London again. Please HELP me!!

i am wondering when u went to the NY Consulate, did u ask them whether u can withdraw ur application?
Is there anyone u can talk to about this problem? We are considering the same situation to go to NY.

I'm having a similar problem. Did you try to fax this message to the consulate? That is one recommendation I got from the staff.

I am in the same situation. I want to withdraw my application. They gave me the same reply. Did you get your passport with or without the VISA back. I would have never applied if I knew this.

Already lost good amount of money on the tickets purchased to and fo from canada. Never got the visa nor the passport. But now need to return to India. Is there any hope if I go now to Detroit? Yes, I would like to know how to withdraw visa application; my parents sent in their application a month ago(6/21/11), still have not received anythign although it says the processing time is 30 days; They cannot travel/fly as they planned because the passports are stuck with the application; their return back home to China date is quickly approaching. They would like to withdraw applciation.
