Hi everybody

We were just wonder what the CIC will be emailing us to the provided emails we give and what will be mailed?

The reason is that in The Philippines we have an address for my partner but we're worried the mail could get lost because her address only states the barangay (neighborhood). No numbers, just a family name.
We've sent stuff there before and there was no problem but I can see lots of room for error. We're also worried stuff will be mailed late.

If needed, will they request an interview through email or through mail? And how much notice do they give.

If a certain item sent in the mail is not responded to, will they follow up on email?

Thanks!

Why don't you ask this question over on the Manila thread? They might be able to respond specifically based on experience with the VO.

I know KG doesn't use email for much of anything.  They use the phone to contact everyone so far who has gotten a PPR, requests for additional information and interviews were sent via post, with 60 days notice/deadline.

Hello, I am from the Philippines and we have the same issue, NO street number. I haven't received any post mail yet because I just passed our application last MAY. Anyways, I asked a lot from the Manila thread, and they told me our middle name will be included. And also, in my mailing address in the form that we passed, I specifically wrote my MAIDEN name only above the address. And another thing is, I already met the mail dispatcher in our area (ask that in the post office), I gave him my new last name, he knows where we live BUT not my new last name. Smiley That is all I can do for now. I am not alarmed that I haven't received a passport request yet because I am still within the time frame. Smiley I will let you know when I get my first mail, probably next week as expected. Yes, sometimes mails sit for days in the post office, so I might give them a visit again next week. Smiley If your wife is still using her maiden name, then do not worry, those mailmen will not get lost  Wink Wink Wink
