Hello Forum,

I got positive assessment from one lawyer
and with the same information I got negative from another

both are respected lawyers. Canadavisa is one of them.

The refusal reason was that I do not have experience in this list:

0631 Restaurant and Food Service Managers
0811 Primary Production Managers (Except Agriculture)
1122 Professional Occupations in Business Services to Management  (NO LONGER AVAILABLE TO PROSPECTIVE APPLICANTS-QUOTA HAS BEEN FILLED)
1233 Insurance Adjusters and Claims Examiners
2121 Biologists and Related Scientists
2151 Architects
3111 Specialist Physicians
3112 General Practitioners and Family Physicians
3113 Dentists
3131 Pharmacists (NO LONGER AVAILABLE TO PROSPECTIVE APPLICANTS-QUOTA HAS BEEN FILLED)
3142 Physiotherapists
3152 Registered Nurses (NO LONGER AVAILABLE TO PROSPECTIVE APPLICANTS-QUOTA HAS BEEN FILLED)
3215 Medical Radiation Technologists
3222 Dental Hygienists & Dental Therapists
3233 Licensed Practical Nurses
4151 Psychologists
4152 Social Workers
6241 Chefs
6242 Cooks
7215 Contractors and Supervisors, Carpentry Trades
7216 Contractors and Supervisors, Mechanic Trades
7241 Electricians (Except Industrial & Power System)
7242 Industrial Electricians
7251 Plumbers
7265 Welders & Related Machine Operators
7312 Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanics
7371 Crane Operators
7372 Drillers & Blasters - Surface Mining, Quarrying & Construction
8222 Supervisors, Oil and Gas Drilling and Service

And I do not have job offer from Canadian Employer

But based on the same information one lawyer office qualifies me for starting application process

I think best thing to do is to wait job offer from Canadian employer

What do you think?

What is your NOC? If you have experience in one these NOCs for atleast 1 year than you can qualify based on points assessment, if you haven't got any experience in any of these NOCs than I'm afraid you wouldn't qualify.
If you are getting AEO than it's good enough to apply through that.

Listen its the job duties that matter. If your job title doesn't match with one of those categories above but job duties match then you still can apply.

You said canadavisa is one of them?? Did he refuse you canadavisa??

Thanks

hi,
look at the National Occpation Classification (NOC) below, which of them falls under what you have done in the past. Look at the ministerial istructions for each NOC ( duties listed by the MI), have you done any of these? It is the day to day duties you have performed under a particular profession which qualifies you to apply under that NOC. Now I am not sure but from the credit analyst you mentioned, my hunch is to check  NOC 1233: Insurance Adjusters and Claims Examiners. Look at the - MI and see if it tallies with the duties you have performed as a credit analyst in , if does, bingo!, if not tough. explore the rest of the NOCs. Been looking for the MI on the CIC website, but have this from the canadavisa readily available. Sometimes, consultants overlook some key facts, they are humans too!
