Hi Everyone,

I and my wife are English/EFL teachers.I have a junior degree , two senior (Honours) degrees and a Teaching Diploma. My wife has a BA Degree and TEFL certificate. We are keen on immigration to Canada and wish to enquire on the prospects of obtaining jobs in this sector.

I would prefer a job at a Community College teaching EFL to adults/Immigrants and my wife possibly Language Schools or even High School EFL/English.

Can anyone shed light on this potential?

We are South African Nationals.

Thanks

David and Vicki.

http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2006/QuickSearch.aspx?val65=4131

tot siens my vriend ...

lol

rupesh, i am yet to send my full application to CHC Islamabad.

the only applicant on this forum from CHC Pretoria i know of is babutv2000 who sent his full application to CHC Pretoria on 6th april and received his medical request earlier this month... which means in around 3 months time.

any news at your end? :)

no, its still very slow. I had choices of two other visa offices, perhaps i should have gone through them. Well, in some sense, the slow pace is also good for me, but i want to find out if i qualify or not.
