Hi

HI guys I need help... I have 2.5 years of exp in NOC b level then 1 year in NOC c and 1 year in NOC B ... will i get .. 21 points i mean will that NOC C .. b considered or not ??

No, only skilled work NOC A, B or O is counted.  No points for C so 3 years experience.

I don't think 696 was answering the question as you asked it.  Under FSW1, your education is not taken into consideration by the VO for the purpose of determining your employment.  (It is obviously important when calculating points for education.)  You must prove that you have worked in one of the NOC29 occupations for at least one full year.  You will find more on this in OP6.

Guys,
We have this debate going on under NOC 4152 - Social Worker. I get the point about the duties performed. How about professions like dentist,pharmacist, social workers which requires a degree in dentistry, pharmacy, social work respectfully.....any input?

I can tell you my case and current status, I'm a mechanical engg but having 10+ years exp in IT.. I've got my second AOR last Nov 2010..

Not sure this ans your question but thought of sharing it for some expert to add on
