well is a POST GRADUATION distance learning not considered for awarding any number of points? I have it read in some of the blogs that Distance learning is considered until it is completed from  a reputed institute. India Symbiosis is one of reputed Institutes. So am i NOT eligible for 22 points

You got 20 points for degree, Distance learning diploma is not a second degree, so you don't get points for it.

Ashishb,

You will be granted the score once you are awarded the degree or part of it depending on the years and type of the degree. Accreditation is a totally different game and has nothing to do with immigration.

However, check page 6 at the immigration guide EG7000, which states:

"Full-time equivalent studies: If you completed a program of study on a part-time or accelerated basis, count the length of time it would have taken to complete the program on a full-time basis.  "

This depends on your study whether it's master or second bachelor.
