Education before university

Hi all,
I am just curious that, when we apply for PR using FSW, we are asked to indicated how many years we have for elementary school, high school, and university. As far as I know, CIC usually only asks for documents to prove your university education, but not for elementary school and high school. So, does CIC usually assume that all people have 6 years of elementary school education and 6 years of high school education? Anyone here has been ask for documents by the CIC to prove their elementary school or high school education? Thanks.

I know I could do that, but has CIC ever asked for documents to prove education before university? Just curious, hehe.

they usually don't ask for the elementary and secondary if you have a college education, because they assume you already completed them successfully.

Thanks for the reply. So I guess if you have a university degree, CIC will assume you have 12 years of education before university. Is that right?

they won't know how many years it took you to complete them, but they will know that you finished.
it's up to you to tell them how many years.
