Education and Profession mismatched ..?

A friend of mine interesting for applying Canadian immigration under skilled worker category but the problem is that, he passed his higher Secondary School (in Commerce) with 46% percentage (because his father was infected with the virus of “Hepatitis C” and was seriously ill during the papers that's why he did not passed his Higher Secondary school with good percentage) and passed bachelor degree (in Computer Science) with 3.2 GP, and he is doing job as an “Officer Human Resource and Administration”.

So he just wants to know that, his profession is not matched with his last education so this cause will be a problem in immigration procedure?

And other question is that, he passed Higher Secondary School with very low percentage in Commerce background and passed Bachelor degree in Computer Science with 3.2 GP, so this issue will be a problem in immigration procedure?

Please guide properly and detail, as he is going to apply in next month.

Unless your friend has a job offer he cannot apply under Federal Skilled worker without having a minimum of ONE FULL YEAR working in one of the occupations listed in the NOC 29 list.  This list is now closed until 1 July 2012.  No one knows if they will or will not change the occupation list when it reopens, so keep watching for the announcement.  Search for "CIC news" the link looks like this  http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/releases/2012/2012-05-29.asp
Under the present rules, your job duties are what determines whether you can apply in a specific NOC.  Although a number of highly skilled jobs (nursing, medicine, pharmacy, etc) would require appropriate education in order to claim work experience.  Good Luck.
