Hi! Canadians,

I am Kelly Cherian, my husband and I are South Africans Citizen. We are in the process of applying for perm. residence in Canada. My husband has 2 Hons> degrees. He was in teaching, insurance broker and recently into a successful business.( due to crime we had to close)
I was a fashion lecturer/ trainer, I had my own business in courtier designing, buyer for fashion house.
We both have great interpersonal & management skills- due to the high crime rate in SA. We are on the move to a country where life will not be at risk.
We do not wish to engage into business of our own. But seek employment to get to know the country and the people.
Thank you to anyone who may respond!!

I think its better for you to read at www.cic.gc.ca and find out which occupation as per your qualification and experience is in demand in Canada and apply for skill class immigration. You can also calculate the points required for immigration at this website.

u need to apply for immigration i think.
then try n look for jobs while your immigration is going through as this will help speed your case.
y dnt u go to canada for a few weeks, see the environment and decide if u want to open a business there and if u like it and have the funds, then open your business.
wish you luck.
