Hi everyone!  I am an architect from the Philippines and I just received my PPR.. I have a wife with a BS Psychology Degree (taught preschool before) and 2 kids, a boy (3yo) and a girl (5mos). Our visa will expire May of 2012 and currently I am torn between Edmonton and Calgary as my destination. I would like to start this thread with the hope of being enlightened on the advantages and disadvantages of both cities and hoping at the same time that this would also help me decide which city would be the best choice for me considering all the aspects of an immigrant's life. Looking forward to reading your posts... =)
