Well it means they have sent you a letter asking for more documents in order to check your eligibility. Once eligible then it will be in Process

My status change last  week so probably I will received the letter this week or by next week.

Kindly check your ECAS status who have timeline similar as mine.

My details are as follows:

Initial app. to Nova Scotia, Canada - Dec, 2008,
Recvd First AOR - Jan, 2009.
Final Application sent to local CHC - May, 2009.
Recvd Second AOR with new file number - June, 2009.
Ecas status came on as "In progress" since - June, 2009.
Verification done from office in Aug, 2009.
I have not received any call as yet for medicals or provisional acceptance (PA) from local CHC.

The online ECAS always showed my names & status in two lines with first saying “Recvd Application”, and second saying “In Process”. I assumed the upper to be for NS and the lower for local CHC. It is very recently I observed that my ECAS status changed (without any intimation to me about PA or notification of medicals).

First line on main page now states "Withdrawn" and the link reads:

We received your application for permanent residence on December _, 2008.
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on January __, 2009. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
We withdrew your application on September __, 2009 and your file has been closed.
A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

Second Line on main page still states "In Process" and the link reads:

We started working on your case from June __, 2009.

Did anyone observe similar changes in their ECAS recently? Exactly similar status statements have come for some other local friends at a stage when their medicals are done and they wait for PP & RPRF request. I have yet to hear about my PA or medicals.
