Hi Sanjeevindia,
I have sent in my full application to the Visa office, which is responsible for my country. It took 5 weeks and i was issued with a file number that is AOR and i got a new file number.
My Ecas is still showing the same old information from Nova Scotia.
My question is why is my Ecas not changing like for other forum members? When will it change or it will never Change at all. I am so worried about this. My Visa office is Abidjan.
Any advice will help.

I have checked mine and still there is no change. It is still written received by visa office. I wonder when the eligibility review be completed....what a long wait.

Next stage is an eligibility review by the local visa office and once it is complete, your status will change to " in process". Normally it takes 6-8 weeks depending on the local visa office.
Meanwhile, you will receive AOR and RPRF Receipt ( in case you have already paid RPRF).

Hi Canada 4 all, well i submitted my full application with supporting docs to visa office on sep7th, to it took 2 weeks for status to be changed to recieved by visa office. Nit4Canada, Thanks for you're info, but i still didn't pay my RPRF!! so hopefully i'll be expecting status to be changed to "in process" soon whats your status?? did you crossed this stage?? BR |

Hi Hassan09,
Thanks for the quick response. I have received my AOR and my Ecas is still showing the old information from Nova Scotia.
I submitted my full application on the 23rd of June and got AOR dated 17th July and i received it on the 8th of August, but still checking my Ecas and it is still showing the same information from Nova Scotia.
When will it change? or it will never Change , is there any member having the same problem with the Ecas like me? Please share with me.
A little worried about this.

Hassan 09, mine is also "received by visa office" status. Hopefully, it will change in the 2nd or 3rd week of October.
If you have not paid your RPRF, they will ask it along with your medical instructions and passport request. Please keep in touch and keep updated in this thread if there is any change in your ECAS status. Thank you

Hello everyone. My ECAS status change from "received by visa office" to " Visa office eligibility review complete" Good or bad sign sign? Mostly after received by visa office next is In-Process....BTW my local visa office is from Manila, Philippines.
