Hi All,

After a long wait i have submitted the passport on 20 Aug-2009. When i check the ecas status it shows as in progress. Is there anything to worry or is it normal.

Seniors please advice.

Thanks

ECAS is not the true reflection of current status...
Sometimes for people who landed their status still shows "In Progress"

hi...

e cas status will not change till the actual  decision made. they dont say approved or denial either only "decision made".   once decision made appears then can expect passports in 2 to 7 days.

Hi,
Please don't rely on ECAS.
As you have already submitted your PP just relax. In the mean time you may even plan and prepare  for your travel except BUYING (or paying) an Air line ticket.
ECAS may (?) or may NOT be updated.
Good luck!!.

Hi Sidhu,

This is probably due to the different CHC processing time lines. Nothing to worry. As long as you have done the medicals things are on track. If possible check with the courier company if they have delivered the package on time and who has taken the delivery. Cant do anything with this information just for peace of mind. You have done whatever was required and now its in GOD' hand.

I am sure it will work out well.

Hi. Congrats you are in the last stage of the PR processing.
Can you kindly share how you managed to send your and your spouse passport from India to CHC London. And how you have decided to get them back after stamping in detail. Your information on this issue is much appreciated.
