Hello,

Just curious as to if anyone's talked to a CIC agent or an IO about why E-cas will re-send old updates?
Is it just a glitch in their system or does it mean someone's touched your account?
It's a pain to get an email thinking it's the final decision on your application and it just turns out to be the decision on your sponsorship that you received 2.5 months ago!!  Angry

 I also got the same thing for sponsor approval, even though it was back in Oct! Huh

I'm not sure if it's an eCAS glitch, or a glitch in the eCAS tracker.  The tracker is not provided by CIC or run by them.  It was made by an independent individual.  So I'm not sure that a CIC agent could tell you anything about it.  Maybe it isn't working well with their new system.

But I know what you mean.  I'm waiting for "Decision Made" to pop up, and have had two false reports already.

I too have had a few updates from Ecas which was result of a glitch in their system as they are apparenlty updated their system to a new one.  The only difference for me was that it was the same information under me, the sponsor, but more detailed info. So who really knows whats going on but I dont think it's because some has touched your file I believe it just a sytem generated glitch....This thing will drive anyone bonkers....lol

Me too.

It finally reported that my application had been returned on Dec 14 - a full 2 months and 13 days after they restarted processing the returned application on Feb 27th.

Thanks guys!
In a weird way it's comforting to know others feel our pain.
It's worrisome when our visa office has had our application for over 2.5 months now and others (after us) have already had their PPRs. My partner has never been able to login online with his details and it's never changed to "In Process".

Me too something happened, it said that my file was transfered to Quebec MICC on november 30th. I already have my CSQ since the end of december Smiley Oh well, thought I would finally see "application received" for my wife...it's been 4 months already Sad
