Hi There! We sent our application sponsorship by February 7, 2011. I have been reading about e-cas. How and when do we get that? We are just a little lost with this....Thank you guys!

Give it a few more weeks.. When you recieve your sponsorship approval generally you get access to ecas.. that's what happened to us. you can use ur client ID which is also your PR ID number or the reciept number that u got when u paid for the visa along with the sponsor's last name, DOB and place of birth to log in  |

Morena, for your reference, eCas is located at: https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/?app=ecas&lang=enYou can also sign up with the free eCas tracker service. It's perfectly safe, and tries to log in to eCas for you automatically every half hour. It'll send you an email when your eCas is activated, and every time CIC updates your file. All you need is the receipt number (Starts with an 'R') from when you paid the fees, and sent the form in with the application. I hope you have access to that number somewhere.
eCas requires the Receipt number (or later, Immigration File number, once you get it), your last name, birth date, and country of citizenship.
If you supply the info to the eCas tracker, it'll automatically try logging in for you, and when it is eventually is successful (when you are approved), you'll be sent an email by the tracker, saying your login is now working.
Mississauga rarely denies anyone, unless there's a major problem (e.g. sponsor is illegal, documents are missing, etc). You'll more than likely be approved without issue.
