ECAS- Medical Results Received

Hello all,

My application has been in the process state around three months. It was sent to Buffalo then fowarded to NY Consulate. Just today my e-cas status was updated to Medical Results Received. I've been reading a lot of conflicting information about people saying that my application is pretty much done as they have requested my medical results.

Any ideas or words of encouragement or words of reality?

The next step is that they will ask for your passport (it may take 1-3months) considering that you do not have any major medical problem.

Hey there, as far as I have read over this forum, sometime medical result received were the last step before Passport request, sometime not, I guess  it isn't a rule. I guess each case is treated seperatly, do you have any update about your case, is the background check is done?

I didn't know they updated when background were done.
