ECAS "In Process"

Hi,

I had received my application number from CIO Intake Office, NS for my PR application under FSW category in Oct'2011.

My status in ECAS is showing as "In Proces" and on clicking the link it shows message "We received your application for permanent residence on July 19, 2011".

The visa processing office is Buffalo. Can anyone please let me know, whether I can expect request for medicals soon.

If you are lucky you may receive MR as soon as 8 weeks.

I am on the same boat as you. I don't think we should except MR soon. I think post-July 2011 applicants all have "in process" in their status.

It would be great if we did get them soon though!

I have the same status on ECAS. it states that "we receive your application for permanent residence on the 17th of Aug..."
that's all. I received PER in november. no aor from VO and no file transfer date. I updated address with VO and received an email that address has been updated but I am optimistic that MR would be sent soon.
