Guys when you got the request for passports, within how many days do you have to submit the passport. Just curious to know if there are travel plans....

I just got this information from the personal experience of an AINP applicant
who was recently asked by the Canadian Embassy to submit his and his dependent's passport.

********************************************************************************

A letter from the CIC-Manila was sent informing that the visa for permanet residence to Canada is/are now ready to be issued. In order to complete the process the following must be forwarded , BY COURIER:

1. Completed Appendix A
2. The original passports for main applicant and dependents.
3. Affix one bar code label to the outside back cover of each passport that we are submitting.
4. Enclose two recent photographs of applicant and dependent
5. We must send the package to CIC by courier.

Note: The passports with immigrant visas, Confirmation of Permanent Resident Forms, and our original documents (which were submitted before) will be returned to us by courier COLLECT. The passports will be returned to us within 20 to 30 working days (4 to 6 weeks) from their receipt at the Embassy.

******************************************************************************

I hope that we get to be as blessed as this guy. Hope this information helps.

Cheers!
