I've already applied to the skilled worker stream. Now, We have bad security problems in Syrian Arab Republic. I live in Saudi Arabia now as my work is in it. But I can't go back to Syria as  my city in Syria which is Daraa, has started the revolution and the security forces there is humiliating all people from that city. Actually, I and my familt feel insecure to go there and really scared from the idea of landing in the airport of Damascus.

Could I apply to the Refugee program as I already applied to the skilled workers program and I am in process with RBVO til now???

Off course one can apply under IRPA while a FSW case is under process... but, in your case -- not as yet... 'Coz, SAR can not yet be described as a 'failed state'... Syria still has some legitimacy for a political reform - and under such situation, Canada might not accept a refugee application, unless of course - if u r a political defector!

Dear,

I dont think that u r falling under IRPA!! Because NOW most People from all araba countries having the same circumstances! Palestine from ages ...Lybia ,Tunis,Egypt,Yemen,Iraq and Bahrin! Imagine that all people from those countries want to leave What would happen

Be patient. It needs a time (months) and everything will be fine
