Cool... so people started getting MR for cases where status turned into IN PROCESS recently.

congrats alot!!

Did you get any verification calls to your phone or to your office between your in process status and MR?
What is you current status in e-cas?

Hi JadedGeek ,

We  never had any varification calls. Current status is In Process with date.

thanks buddy... !!

You generally get a CIIP brochure from the CHC with your MR. They need proof that your process is almost done before you can attend. They generally want proof of either of the following
1. MR
2. PPR
3. Visa scan for people who have not landed in Canada

Get more details on www.newcomersuccess.ca

Hope this helps

I've returned back

Hi folks,

Sorry, I couldn't stay longer in Dubai, had to come back due to some fresh work/s cropping-up  @  Toronto. Thus, couldn't meet many of u -- had few with Biju though, & was updated with all the happenings around.

Kur & others who got their pps stamped/meds meanwhile -- CONGRATS!

I took Etihad this time (first time) & I must admit their service was splendid. I thus recommend this airline (alongwith KLM & BA) for ur landing/s.
-Long-haul, took 13.5-hrs.* Adh to YYZ (landed early though by 1-hr.),
-Inflight service was nice & the meals selection was wholesome,
-Express Bus Service from Dxb to Adh was smooth, 1.2-hrs.,
-We can check-in  @  Chelsea Towers, Dxb itself (baggages taken care of  @  Dubai),
-Price: AED-9810 for 1xAdult & 2xKids (one way),
-Had better leg-space (than BA, KLM has similar),
-Inboard entertainment selection is good & widespread,
-Cabin crew was extra courteous & helpful... felt good!
-Icing on the cake: We get 2x23-kgs. Check-in Baggage each!

My inbox is flooded... I might not be able to look  @  them, regrets. I'd request those needing an/y urgent/explicit reply to kindly send me fresh PMs.

Qorax
*Remember, this is a long-haul flight & could be unsuitable for the kids. Mine got irksome midway. Ditto for smokers (like me) - in which case KLM via Schipol-Amsterdam is better, & tad cheaper too!
no issues at all we will meet u in canada soon INSHALLAH ....captain i have chosen KLM ,hope to have a pleasant experirience

Hi Abiraj

You generally get the brochure with your MR or PPR but you can go to www.newcomersuccess.ca and register - they will probaby ask you for proof of MR. My wife and me just attended the full day session today and will be attending the individual session tomorrow.

These sessions are conducted twice or three times in a month depending on the number of registered participants. I'm not sure but I think generally the sessions are conducted at Novotel DCC like our session

Hope this helps

Hi Mr. Amaniziad,

We have the same situation. Waiting for MR and when I sent CSE to LVO they reply that only my consultant will have access to them. I am still waiting for the Decision made result last March 8, 2012. Wishing all the best.

Hello friends, I received my stamped passports back in 5 weeks. Thank you everyone for help and support!
I have couple of doubts here:
1- We are a family of 4 persons. In the COPR of my wife, and under "Dependant(s) information", it is written : Have you any depandants other than those who listed below? then my name is mentioned. Is that correct?
2-Under COR, Egypt was stated not UAE. Is there is any problem?
3-Mr qorax suggests the 20/80 role for carrying funds and I was about to purchase travel checks or bank drafts" I don't know which of them you recommend?" but I read on the documents they sent me the following:" ..current bank statment, updated bank book, securities or negotiable instruments in beare form, etc"
Since I'm going to make offshore landing, I find the idea of bank statment more convenient but I still need more assurance from you especially Captain as I know he is not much supporting bank statments. I would like to know if anyone used them successfully?
Thank you and good luck for everyone waiting for PPR

Hello Qorax/Biju,

I have a small query. My eCas status still says "In Process" without any line for medicals, where as actually we have sent passport for VISA on 28-04-2012. Is this normal?

Please advise as per general time frame how many days it take to get back passport with COPR documents?

Regards
