I submitted my full documents to  CHC London  last March 17 2010  and  ecas was  Received by visa officer  dince March 23 2010,   I never hear  anything from them  until now.   when can I expect the  request for medical and passport.

Can someone guide me if I should do something, or keep waiting???

14-Feb-2010: I sent first set of my documents to Sydney, NS Canada.
07-Apr-2010: My credit card was charged by Immigration Canada. (i.e. they started processing).
06-Jun-2010: (Today) No response yet from them.

Should I keep waiting? Or should I ask them about the status? I don't have any reference no. or anything to communicate with them.

If anyone can help me Pls it's very very urgent

Yesterday my brother got a severe attack (brain tumor).He is admitted in the hospital and his situation is very critical.  We are going to get our passport request on week time confirmed by CHC London.

Here my query is once we submit our passport then how long does it take to get it back?
 
Secondly if we go personally to UK and submit our passport then how long does it take?

In London, pps r stamped every Thursday (only). If u go personally, u can deposit the pps & obtain a receipt. Which will be dated on the 2nd Thursday for collection. They require 1 Thursday in between. Thus u'll have a 14 day's Wait. If u have that boarding & lodging option in London, go for it.

Else, if u send the pps from Dubai, it'll take 21 days, usually to return. Sometimes can be in 14 days too, the maximum generally is 28 days, while the avg remains 21 days.

The illness of your bro is saddening. I pray for his early recovery & good health.

It is sad to hear about your brother and I wish him good health. Some where I had written to you that you can get the Passports if you go to UK the same day; I stand corrected. That was wrong information which I somehow thought was correct.

yes sent 2day thru tcs they r cheapest and send it thru fedex only. wil get tracking no 2morow. hav already told u the docs reqd....lets hope all goes fine and smooth.

Probably that e-cas statement is an Error... I definitely pray so. 'Coz a "Decision Made" before sending the Passports is Rejection. I sincerely hope I'm wrong and so is the e-cas, which could be a MIS glitch.

Some others too had a situation like this before [on such forums]. Some enquired about it with the the CHC & it 'reverted' back to "In Process". I suggest u to send an enquiry to your CHC asap.

Hi Qorax,

Finally got the PPR over the weekend and was scanned and forwarded by my consultant. Sent the PPs and the form (printed the scanned copy) out today.

No i did not send it yet bcoz passport of my son was expired and it in renewal process now. I will get it INSHALLAH on comming friday and then on saturday i will send it.

Attention Mr. Qorax and others for advice.

My file is "in process" since July 2009 (Applied Jan 2009 to Sydney) in London. On case enquiry, I am told that an interview is required but date can not be given for Kuwait or Abu Dhabi as interviews only take place when there are suffient persons for interview. Please given your experience from middle east. This is very frustrating. They say it can take several months and at present there is no plan in the near future. How often in a year they hold interviews in the middle east-Abu Dhabi/Kuwait.
