Could anyone suggest what do I need to do to get rid of my consultant and deal with the London VO myself and would there be any harm if I want to get rid of my useless consultant.  Angry Angry Angry

you can cancel ur agent by filling the form IMM 5476 (section C- cancelling part)  http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5476E.PDF and send CHC by email and hard copy by courier.

make sure u have paid the full fee if u have signed any contact with the agent. In order to avoid any misunderstanding, I suggest that you also inform your representative of this cancellation.

Good Luck bro

Don't be impatient... just relax, u'd have it back soon!
And do not communicate with the VO (before 5 months, not that u'd have to wait that long!), else the pps might be returned unstamped.

Hi everyone!!!

I am once again back to write. I am a keen observer of the forum and appreciate all the inputs by members of the forum.

I am a pre-Feb2008 applicant and still waiting for document request. If there is anyone else from the same timeline, please do let me know any updates. If anyone else has any idea, then please share, about how long its gonna take to receive the document request + Medical + PP... etc.

My second question is,... I am not clear about the duration of stay in any country after which CHC needs PCC from that country. Is it 6 months or 2 years?Huh And is this period collective or stretch of one full stay??? For example: if someone visits Saudi Arabia on and off but the total duration in all the visits is 6 months or 2 years (about which I have already asked a question), then is it necessary to have PCC? or is it applicable only for one stretch stay?

My last question is, How to get PCC while staying in UAE?
For example I need PCC from my native country (Pakistan) and all other countries where I stayed more than the time limit defined by CHC, so how can I get the PCC while staying in UAE?

I would appreciate the input of all the members in this regard and please pray for the completion of remaining procedure for all pre-Feb2008 applicants as it is more than 47 months that we have not heard anything from CHC (almost four complete years of painful wait).

Thanks everyone.... Take Care....
Bye

Sorry to hear about your waiting period but this could be extended as long as 88 months as per CIC web site. Please see link below
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm/skilled-fed.asp

For PCC you have to provide PCC for each countries where you have stayed more than 6 months for the purpose of traveling, working or any..It should be collective of more than 6 months.

If you need PCC for your native country just visit web site of ur embassy/personal visit. They will provide you PCC from here only. No need to visit your country for PCC.For better understanding please follow below link

U have got 2 options:

1. Return to Canada thru a PRTD now & submit the pics afresh [to save the $50]. Note: They require your physical presence in one of the CPCs to accept your new pics.

2. Forget about the PR cards now; and take your time to go back to Canada [again under a PRTD] > submit a fresh PR card application, which costs $50 only.

Which is better?

My dear people. I am a post June 2010 applicant, and received my MR some months ago.
As of the time of receiving the MEDS my wife was 7 months preg. Am a cardiothoracic surgeon and I felt the risk was not really worth it. So I asked the VO for a deferment of my wife's Xray exam which they kindly granted. Now my wife has delivered and we are waiting for the baby's Intl passport to be processed here in England. My question is this should my wife go now for her xray exam or wait to do the her xray part when the baby's MR arrives then both baby and Mum can do the meds. {NB- Myself and my son's have all completed our meds while my wife did all her meds but for the xray}.
My seniors I trust your reply will come soon. God bless u all.

  @   Teacher-ji,

Explanation accepted but on one condition-- that next time you and family should attend and celebrate your Visas Cheesy (No hiding from that! Cool), by throwing a party with some home made cakes (White/Black Forest Tongue), muffins etc. What with Christmas advancing, could'nt think of anything else, besides roasted Turkey and the works! Grin

But before that, do get well pretty soon, please. It is Christmas time! Smiley

Best Wishes,

Bestpal
