This is getting way too frustrating......i have been waiting for ppr since like 2 months post medical and PR fee and no movement on part of London....they dont even bother changing the status

Hi guys,
I am applying through a consultant, actually its was my worst choice but anyway I am stuck there now,
I am applying under skilled workers category, my IELTS score is total of 7:
L :7
R :7
W:6
S :7.5
anyway my consultant said I have to retake the test as I need 7.5 in "L" and 6.5 in "W".
and they said I can whether retake the test or ask for rechecking my papers!!!!
so far I didn't receive my file number, however the CHC office deducted the fees from my credit card 2 weeks back.
I would highly appreciate all advices and comments.

It's high time that we start our 'own thread', like others are doing here !!!
I request all to post your timlines here and get connected. Firstly, it will sail us thru on this long agonising waiting period. Secondly, thru networking we can help each other on info sharing and act as morale boosters. Thirdly, we'll expand our 'Friends-Circle', both here as well as post landing.

I am also from dubai. I applied in October 2008. But I received the acknowledgement in the month of April 2009. I was asked to submit all my papers within 120 days. I submitted all my papers except IELTS. IELTS results were sent in the month of January 2010.
My issue is that I can't find any sort of information regarding my status in the CIC website. When i send a mail regarding this, they replied that my case is under process. Any clue by when I might get a final decition?
Secondly, if in case I return back to India, what will happen to my case? If they ask me to send passport, how will I send passport from India? I heard its illegal to courier passport in India.
Will appreciate any feedback.
