Hello,

Yesterday I sent our passports.

The info to share:

You can send your passport through First flight Couriers.

Benefit:

You can send as much as in just 30% of the amount taken by the DHL (as captain said save as much as you can)

Now you all are thinking we cannot take risk for Passports..

Important:

First Flight sends it through DHL only. So if you give your courier to FF, very next day they will give you DHL courier track no. So you can track on DHL web site directly and there is no delay in for process.

regards,

Thanks dear for sharing this valuable info.

Cheers...

Hi jmora,
SATDXB and BIJU said correctly. You stay for 1095 days and you can apply for citizenship.

During these 3 years if I had to leave Canada for few days on emergency will this be considered as interruption?

You can apply for Passport once you have phisically resided 1095 days in Canada. So if you leave on a months holiday you can apply after 3 years and one month
Hope it's clear.

Hi Soby, so you sent your passports on the 13th of October? If you don't mind can I add your time lines to the international tracker? You can see the link below, there is a page for London PP tracking.

Thanks
Soby

Thanks Soby, I'm sure that is the best way to do it. I hope we all get our passports with the shiny new maple leaves as early as possible. I'm very excited to get the Canadian visa now, it's been 21 days since it was received by London VO; looking at the time lines of earlier applicants I can get it any day now. Grin Huh Shocked Grin

May I ask what you ecase status is now? Has it changed to decision made?

My e case is still in process with date of processing started June 2 2010
Usually London  update e case on Monday's so I feel you can expect something today.
I too am eagerly waiting for my PP as I can cancel the DXB visa and get out of here.
It's too tough to cut time when you have nothing to do
Will update you ASAP I get any info on mine

Hi Everyone.. I just want to know if is it a mandatory that your VO should be LONDODN if you are working here in UAE for so many years now? BECAUSE We have chosen London as our VO and seems to be very slow compared to manila office

Hi, you can choose London or Manila, the choice is up to you.
But if now you want your file to get transferred to Manila, it can get done but it delay the progress too.

Hi Kix
in fact the selection of London VO is a privilege to the Middle east applicants.
Being a Pilipino working in UAE you can select either London or Manila. its your personal Choice. The London VO understand the conditions of Middle east Applicants better.
Better to take the final decision now taking in to consideration all the factors, coz the file gets undue delay later on if you want to change the VO at a later stage.
