Hi seniors who got medical request recently.

Please let me know how the family medical forms are dispatched to you. Each family member gets his forms in a separate envelop or the forms of all the members in one envelop.

I have one son currently away from the rest of the family. He is studying in Canada.

My concern that only the designated doctor can open the envelop and in this case my son can not leave his collage and come to our country to make his medical check here.

Please share your experience and advise me what to do.

Hi Polar Bear,
The MR Forms are send in one single envelope, and it would be send to the address in the file.
Once you receive, you can send the form of your son to him in Canada and he can get his Medical done in Canada and you can get yours and the rest of the family at your country where ever you are.
There is nothing that only a DMP can open the envelope, The DMP should have the Original Form to do the test.

It was truly a pleasure to have a face to face meeting with the whole gang, but especially the presence of our Captain Sir Qorax, Biju and SatDXB was just special.

The best thing about all of it was, that the intentions were to help each other with no money involved. And making new friends is always nice. We all learned a lot today.

The positive speech by the Captain was the highlight. And his guidance was just priceless.

Looking forward to being in the meeting again, but this time in Canada.

Kindest Regards

It was a wonderful meet. Thanks seniors for their valuable support and guidance.

I am sure, no consultant in the country has this much information as our senior's has. And none of us might have opted for a consultant if we had known about this forum and the great leaders.

Few point which Captain had emphasized  today (for those who did not attend)..

1.   The fund you are supposed to carry is good for three months of your stay there. You should have sufficient fund for few more months, so that you will be free from financial worries till you are settled. So from the day you apply, stop all your unwanted purchases, start saving..

2.   Once you land in Canada, one of the first things you have to do is to join a co-operative college and get trained. This will make you accustomed to Canadian culture.

3.   Average time taken by an HR consultant to review a CV is 20sec. So the CV need to be framed accordingly.

4.   Take up the first job you get even if it is not suiting your profile. You might get a better job, but you don't know when. Your experience, irrespective of the function, is counted as a Canadian experience.

Biju, it would be great if you can circulate the contacts details of the attendees among them.

Best regards,
rejis.

Thanks very much folks for making an effort and participating in the wonderful gathering.

A special thanks is due to :

1) Our dear Captain Sahib for guiding us and patiently responding to everybody's queries &

2) Biju Bhai for effortlessly organising an impeccable meet.

3) Sattar Bhai for positively replying to our friends' doubts, from his first hand landing experience.

@ Mahesh & Sheela-ji : CONGRATS for receiving your PRs right after the meet. Talk about the Lucky touch or the positive energy.

@ teacherji : Now I know where was the 'teacherji', we were waiting for, Mrs. George! Nice meeting you, Madam! Welcome to the networked clan and the tribal family  Cool!

And I missed, some who promised to join but could not make it like my dear Dr. friend Arman-bhai. Must be a very late Thursday night. Nahin? Wink.

Got a call from our Toronto landed friend, Sureshbhai (Appan) who said that he was sorry to miss today's ensemble. See the effects of the bonding this family this entails?

Nevertheless, THANKS once again ALL NEWCOMERS, dear friends-- Dsingh (Balram), Alibhai800, Harsha-Jayprakash, Regis, Akscanada, Jmora, Venkateshji and many others.

Cheers!

Best Wishes,

Bestpal

Hi everyone! It was really great to meet everybody today and put real names and faces to the user IDs that we're so used to. I hope that we all maintain this network and contribute and benefit from it for a long time to come.

Special thanks to Captain for sharing his wisdom and experience and to SatDXB for helping me find the way! Thanks to everyone else who attended as well. Cheers!
