Just want to share here for people who are anxious and wondering if their PS3 from Dubai (PAL) will work in Canada... The answer is YES! My PS3 works like a charm. I can play all my games and new games i bought here in canada with no problems at all. I can even watch netflix now through my PS3 which I can't do when I was still in Dubai! By the way, I have the slim 250GB version.

Mine doesn't. I've the 'dual shock' version - the 'fat' one... but a 2009 model. |

Dear SATDXB , Capt, Seniors and friends, I had poured out my heat on this forum about the miserable situation my family was in... when my husband the ( primary applicant ) to Canada lost his job to downsizing  To cut a long story short I was worried about his visa status in Dubai... !! Today I'm happy to report that I was able to get him on my sponsorship.... On a residence visa !!![/font][/font][/font][/font][/color][/color] Thank you all for you good wishes and positive energy.... Please continue to send it through so it can work on us getting our PPR soooooooon !!  ( oh !! our address disappeared 27 days after Medicals were sent ) ... Warm Regards T |

This is a mystery dear-- my status is same since I got my second AOR (in mar 2011).. mine one's says 'pending review' - dont know if it's really in process or the process is still not started... |

One of our Senior Forum Member advised me, if your e-case shows as " In Process "
It means that, you are Imm. case has been assigned to an officer to review/evaluate your documents submitted.
Based on the sheer volume's of applicants, precise documents, precedence set by CIC & London CHC...
He/She will determine... what or when next process/stage/step has to take place...
At this point of time, it is very difficult to predict, on what criteria / basis the V.O will decide to move with our Imm. case.
London CHC will never communicate their plans, as it is their internal business plan/strategy which they have to follow and also abide the rules set by CIC & Parliament
What I believe, after talking to many of our senior members & consultants... London CHC is parallely working on New FSW & Old Backlog cases simultaneously...
On what basis...? ? ? GOD only knows...
Let's keep our fingers crossed & hope for the best.
