To all applicants who got thier visas

I want to be sure if Visa office giving the Visa Valididty one full year from date of medical exam.
Please inform me by return.

Yes it is one full year may be a day less max .. thats it..   I havent yet recieved my Visa .. but i had sent request for extension after my PPR as i was travelling for my vacation .. so in the reply the VO mentioned that in case i get Visa I need to land before September 26th 2011 which is exactly 364 days from the day of my Medical exam...

- RIGHT OF PERMANENT RESIDENCE FEE (RPRF)
- UPDATED SCHEDULE 1 FOR YOU AND YOUR SPOUSE
- POLICE CERTIFICATES UAE FOR YOU AND YOUR SPOUSE
- POLICE CERTIFICATES PAKISTAN FOR YOU AND YOUR SPOUSE

Take an appointment and then go.... it will take arnd 7 -800 AED depending on which clinic/doc u go to ... some of them will have in house X ray and blood test .. so may be less ... so as i said depends ...  I have heard DUbai London Clinic is good... but please do ur own research .. the best in Abu Dhabi is John McCulloch... Dont be nervous as ur BP may go up  .. LOL .. Kiddind..

I hope so...but i mae some mistake on my mailing address (not really a mistake...more of stupidity) i used my home address in the philippines as my mailing address...so that is the MR will be sent by VO to my Philippine Address it will take some time before it reaches my home 30 days may be..then my family in Phils will courrier it to me..i did not use my residence address here in Middle East due to nature of work...i should hvae used my office address...anyway, im planning to shfit my mailing address to my office after the MR...

No worries mate, they give 90 days of time for all of this i believe .. so u wont be late ... but my suggestion ... do get ur address change ASAP. Cheers

Please advice if the medical test in Dubai or Abu Dhabi requiring Blood test and X-RAY or it is only Normal phisichal checking.
Which clinic in Dubai has in-house LAboratory and X-Ray  (i don't want to go twice for mediacal check and for bloodtest and X-Ray)

you dont have to go twice, they will advice you the same on the same day .. and send u to some lab .. which will directly send results to clinic ... u will just have to go once ... Blood Sample and Xray are taken in all tests .. normal physical checkup is just a part of it ...if u r in Abu Dhabi go to John McCulloch    P.O. Box 8031,

Arabic / English / French... will send u to a Lab .. who will take only 50 AED for the Xray and test ... and the physical exam costs u arnd 750 ... call them before you go to take an appointment ... and wherever they send u for lab test is very close as well ... not too far ...

In Process with RBVO means .. the file is in process but no real work is happening .. apart from some background checks .. which will/may happen again after medical ... when a date is updated, that means they are actually going to make a progress based on the papers u have sent .. that means they may ask u for more information + medicals ...  if its just in process without a date .. wait till u get a date .. and thats when u will get the medical ...

Bro .. you will soon receive medical ... for me  I received medical with in 10-15 days on the started processing date .. hopefully in coming 2-3 days you should receive the medical request ... if you have filed through consultant .. please keep checking with them.

Have patience my frndz ...right now people who applied in the month of Aug/Sept-09 are getting Med-req....Inshallah time will come for us very soon.......it will take another 3-4 months to get date in Ecas.........so u can expect something in the month of Set/Oct...if i am not wrong...allah willing we will be there if its written in ur destiny....hope for good

in my ecas it asy In-process, they started processing since june 02, 2011...is this the date you are referring to, that indicates the end of background check? or it's something else?

if the ecase shows "IN PROCESS"  it means the file is taken for background checks

If the ecase shows "IN PROCESS" and whn u click it should show "your application has been reveiwed and we started processing on 00 june 2011" THIS IS A VV GOOD SIGN , once u see this , it means u can expect ither addt docs request within 30 days or MEds in 30-50 days maxx.

in Dubai u can go to 3 DMPs - i did in Dubai London clinic v good experience

in Dubai,  Health bay polyclinic is also vv Good

Dear Qorax and other seniors,

I have a question abt changing the account.
unfortunately i have kept the amount in current account as that was my salary account..
you can well imagine ,keeping 1.7 million dumbly in a account for the last 15 months and from where you r getting zero profit, how that feels..
But now i have to think abt it cz i really donno when to get medicals..
i am post 26 applicant...i talked to banker of shifting my amount to saving account but for that my account number will have to get change by 2 digits.

plz suggest me what to do?is it feasible to change my account number keeping in view that CHC may look for last six month statement..also i have provided my current account number to CHC at the time i applied...now what it the account number changes?
i have asked this question to another related thread and one of the respected member said that there should be an evidence of lump sump transfer of amount in my new account..
what would be that evidence? i guess i can show up the transfer from my previous account to this new one and get a certificate from bank saying its transfer..am i right?
Please suggest would it be advisable to change account just to get profit.

Note:-
1) i have already a saving account in the same bank opened 6 months back( with very little money inside)..just need to transfer the amount from current one to saving account.
2) once in saving account, i can withdraw the money any time beside getting profit
