The last two [3 & 4] - NO... it's a personal preference.

Hi Qorax,

Two more queries please and I hope to get a reply before we travel on 29th May.  I'm getting confused about declaring jewellries.  Definitely, jewellries should be as accompanied goods however, i will only declare it but will not bring it during our landing.  What happens if they look for it, will photos suffice?  Also, I have bought my jewellries/diamonds by intstallment a long time ago and does not have any receipts.

The other query is, my daughter will be arriving the day after my partner (PA) and I arrives Canada.  Is there any advice you can give to ensure a smooth landing for her since she is traveling/landing alone.  She is 20 years old by the way.

Thanks.

1. R u bringing the jewelries 'while landing' or 'later'. They definitely need to be listed & photographed... if it's 'while landing' - it'd be listed in the GAL... if 'later' - it should be listed in the GTF.

2. Not having receipts of those isn't an issue - u can mention the market price of those, as per your own personal valuation.

3. Don't worry, she will be fine... u'd be surprised how smart she is... yes our kids r nowadays [independent, assertive, modest, suave & street-smart].

Bon Voyage !

Yes buddy

u will get the full points 16 for this scores - CONGRATS Bro  Wink

but for PR purpose we need to write IELTS General,

are u applying for student visa?

Biju

Hi,
Thanks Biju Bhai for reply. Actually I needed IELTS Academic for another purpose as well, you are right, it is for doctoral studies.
Good to hear that I will get the maximum marks.
One more thing I want to ask, will it make an impression if the score is higher than what I got? Is it the same if I will get anything higher than what I have already got?
I thank you once again for your kind reply.
God Bless
Bye

Thanks a alot,
I was reading your threads about how to open a bank account, please correct me:

1- The best way to manage money in the first landing is , have some cash, and have Bank drafts.
2- Scotia bank is the best 1st choice for immigrant. How long it will take the process of BD?

Please can you give me more information about what are the bank account types that will not charge you on each transactions. " I am little confused"

Thank for your usual help.
